TriStar Soccer Event 8/7/2021

This year we had over 50 kids participate in the TriStar soccer event. This event groups the kids by age and gender and allows them to test their skills against one another. Congratulations to all of our 2021 winners!

Christmas in the park

Come and check out the Optimist Club’s decorated pavilion!  The Brookville Park Board is again hosting the Christmas in the Park beginning Dec. 4th through Jan. 2nd at Golden Gate Park. This is a Christmas-themed, drive thru event where the City and the local service clubs have festively decorated the park.  The Park Board is providing goodie bags on a first come/first served basis on Friday, Dec. 4th from 6-8pm.  Unfortunately, Santa and Mrs. Claus are not able to attend this year but will be there in spirit.  The Optimist Club thanks the leadership of Brookville and the Park Board for continuing this holiday tradition.

Who is the Brookville Optimist Club?

The Brookville Optimist Club is an organization dedicated in service to the Youth and the Community of the Brookville area. The members, who volunteer, give of their time to programs that are designed to enhance
the lives and well being of others. Many, designed for the Youth, from our motto, “A Friend of Youth” to programs that benefit residents of the community.

We are self supporting with our own money making fund raisers like the locally famous “SUGAR WAFFLES” and the All-Adult Egg Scramble. At times the merchants and other Service Clubs of the community also give to help our endeavors.

There are bi-monthly meetings held that are designed toward the fellowship and education of the members with speakers on different
topics and views from the surrounding area. The goal of the organization is to make the community a better place to live and have a good time doing it!

Honoring America Flag Project

The Brookville Optimist Club invites you to participate in a patriotic, community service program called the “Honoring America Flag Project.” This annual project will help fund activities that support the youth of Brookville.
To participate, let us know how many 3′ by 5′ American flags you would like flown in front of your home, the home of a friend, neighbor or business. The Brookville Optimist Club will install a sleeve in your yard. Prior to each holiday, members will place a flag in the sleeve. We will place a flag in front of your home or business for the following days; Memorial Day, July 4th, September 11, and Veteran’s Day. After the holiday we will return to remove the flag, properly clean it and store it safely until the next holiday. All flags are American made and are purchased from the All American Store in Brookville, Ohio.
Annual Subscription is $40.00.
